In my opinion the ears and tail are unnecessary and look bad but otherwise that looks like some impressive work.

I just don't like anthromorphic things cause they tend to fit inside of the "uncanny valley" which doesn't mean they're creepy but they're just not... right... like if you saw a person who didn't have irises, or someone without a nose, it's not creepy, but as a natural human bias your brain says "that isn't normal." Adding features works the same as removing them.

Once again this is all just personal for me and it doesn't apply universally.

I meant that there's an overwhelming majority of anime that doesn't have any anthromorphic people in it. Some animes that do have it are about Japanese mythology and actually make sense to have it. Anime is just not associated anthromorphic thingimajibberjabbers explicitly.

oh i see most of the anime i watch involves catgirls https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catgirl

There's a catboy in Hellsing Ultimate but other than that I don't think I've watched very many animes with lots of catgirls/boys, but I think that's mainly cause I almost always watch action, shounen, and fantasy.
